Modal Behaviour

Recorded in 2021 Modal Behaviour is an album of original New Zealand Jazz and Contemporary music. At forty-nine minutes the ten tracks on the album are mostly instrumental with two songs, the gypsy-jazz track Django and blues item I've Been Searching, and with compositions by Stephen Galvin who sings, plays guitar and plays bass. The album also features New Zealand musicians Phil Hornblow, Ben Hunt, Paul Mouncey, André Paris and Jacob Randall with guests Miguel Fuentes and James Guildford-Smith. Modal Behaviour was recorded at Matrix Studios, Wellington, produced by David Feehan, then mixed and mastered at ABC Studios, Auckland.
