This CD brings together some of the strongest songs from Sting's solo career, and also from his work in the group The Police.
'The Very Best of Sting and the Police' brings together some of the strongest songs from Sting's solo career, and also from his work in the group The Police, with former bandmates Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers.
From the late 70s until the middle of the 80s these three musicians produced some of the most consummate "pop" music of the 20th century.
After they broke up, Sting went on to have an even more successful solo career, whilst the other two seemed more at home with making stunning movie soundtracks and experimental jazz albums.
This collection is a fabulous introduction to the music of these three men, and contains many well-known anthems.
