"Drag - a little tongue in cheek? Not at all when you consider K.D.'s long obsession with Peggy Lee songs. She's been performing "Don't Smoke in Bed" for nigh on 20 years now and that's what led to 'Drag'.

The idea was to make an album of addiction songs, be it smoking, pills or liquor. The irony is that K.D. is a non-smoking vegan of the highest order. Nonetheless she's fascinated with these songs and it shows as she makes her way through a sexy and sultry collection of torchy smoke filled songs from "Smoke Rings" to "My Old Addiction", from "The Joker" to "The Valley Of The Dolls".

Any lover of 'Ingenue' will love the moodiness of 'Drag'."
