Perry Farrell, renowned leader of Jane's Addiction (the group often credited with launching alternative rock long before it was a known commodity) and Porno For Pyros, also the founder of the Lolapalooza festival, Farrell is nothing short of an alternative rock hero. This record features "Been Caught Stealin" the 12" mix from the maxi single, "Tonight", a cover of the musical "West Side Story", (previously has only appeared on the B-side of the "Pets" single), the Porno For Pyros' track "Hard Charger" is taken from the soundtrack to the Howard Stern film Private Part, and "Ripple" from the "Grateful Dead" tribute album "Deadicated". Jane's Addiction "Satelite Of Love", is a cover of the Lou Reed track that was culled from the Cable GUy soundtrack...
