Release

Christian Ercolano and Emerson Todd, collectively known as House Of Downtown, have emerged as one of New Zealand's brightest new acts. Producing tracks together for three years, House Of Downtown have achieved a level of underground success which has eventuated in the completion of their debut album, 'Release'. Over the last year House Of Downtown also wrote and produced the soundtrack to the feature film 'Stickmen'. For this they wrote over 19 different pieces including the single "Downtown Groove" - an N.Z. alternative radio number one. More recently House Of Downtown have spent time in the U.K. mixing 'Release' at The Strongroom studios with former Lava Lava member Mike Nielson. The results are a strong, fine representation of all that is House Of Downtown.
