We now reach the third volume of the Beethoven String Quartets performed by the Kodály Quartet.

The present disc contains two of the most frequently performed of the complete cycle, and represent the turning point in Beethoven's life when he began to develop his own style within this field of composition, his earlier works having owed considerably to the influence of Haydn.
