Fingathing are a thing of, creation, and madness. Consisting of Parker and Sneaks, (though you would be forgiven for believing there were more of them hiding behind their wild noises) who brought loads of expensive equipment, learnt how to play it, then came up with Fingathing.

Superheros of the Manchester hip-hop scene, Fingathing, renowned for their original, cartoonish artwork and equally colourful DJ style, one of Grand Central's most essential live acts. The two Fingas in question go by the names of Peter Parker and Sneaky, propping up the turntables and double bass respectively. Yeah, that's right: Fingathing's twin pilots combine mastery of both classical and contemporary instruments to great effect and even greater sound.

As hip-hop visionaries go there can't be many more quirky a combination. The Fingas' second longplayer, Superhero Music, is released just in time to get your Winter up and jumpin'. Produced in conjunction with the man Drury and his zany artwork (check out www.fingathing.com for eye-catching examples) the record was written at home and represents the latest word in turntable tenacity.
