In stronger voice than ever, exuding richness and confidence
EASY is the fifth full-length album from Austin, TX's Kelly Willis and the follow up to her acclaimed 1999 debut 'What I Deserve".
The album was recorded in Austin and mixed in Nashville by Gary Paczosa (whose credits include Dolly Parton, Gillian Welch, Nickel Creek and Alison Krauss), and it finds Kelly in stronger voice than ever before, exuding richness and confidence on every one of the records ten tracks.
Guests include Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski (Union Station, O Brother Where Art Thou?) and Chris Thile.
Kelly is again backed by a stellar cast of players: guitarists Chuck Prophet (Green on Red) and Mark Spencer (Jay Farrar, Lisa Loeb), drummer Rafael Gayol (Flatlanders, Joe Ely, BoDeans) and legendary keyboardist Ian McLagan (Faces, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen).
