"sympathetic response to Beethoven's changing moods"
- Gramophone
"Reviews"Though Jando's readings may not have the individuality of a Brendel or a Barenboim, they have a concertration and freshness which, never distracting you from Beethoven, is equally satisfying. They also have fuller, more faithful sound."
- GRAMOPHONE - Dec 90
Volume 8 includes fine performances of Sonata No. 4 in E flat, Op. 7 - its slow movement particularly memorable and the Sonata quasi una fantasia No. 13, Op. 27 No. 1, which is hardly less successful in its symphathetic response to Beethoven's changing moods: again, the Adagio is most eloquent. In between are neatly grouped the three two-movement sonatas which Jandó presents with appropriate simplicity.
