All the 1950s DGG and Decca recordings of Schumann and Brahms in a handy box, including many rarities no longer available, such as the Schumann Fantasy and Etudes Symphoniques, and the Brahms Handel Variations.
CD 5 contains three Beethoven Sonatas (Moonlight, Pathétique and Appassionata), released on CD for the first time, and a selection of encores: Für Elise, Bach Siciliano, as well as Rameau, Couperin and Handel.
