Sepultura are true metal legends and are now back heavier and hungrier than ever!

The reasons for Sepultura's longstanding exceptional position in the metal genre are obvious and can't be ignored on Roorback: their wealth of ideas, inquisitiveness and love of experimentation. Anybody who claims to know which direction the new album is going to take even before its release is likely to fall victim to a fatal error.

The term 'power cocktail' is a perfect description of Sepultura's mix of violent guitar riffs, booming drum rhythms and fire-breathing bass grooves that are once again combined on Roorback. Sepultura's music is as diverse, hard and multi-layered as ever, as tracks like the brutal opener 'Come Back Alive', the subsequent 'Godless' and the angry 'Corrupted' show. 'Bottomed Out' and 'Mindwar' round out the album the way any self-respecting Sepultura recording should: powerful and unambiguous. The thirteen tracks on the current offering were mixed by producer Steve Evetts at the Mosh Studios in São Paulo, Brazil.
