"An auspicious DG debut that opens up the possibilities for creative listening."
Gramophone (Feb 2004)

"Her fervour finds expression in articulate, visionary performances of Beethoven's "Tempest" Sonata and his Choral Fantasia: the latter, with Esa-Pekka Salonen electrifyingly conducting the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Choir, has rarely been bettered."
The Guardian Jan 2004

"I don't think I've ever heard a disc like this before; breathtakingly original as a programme, and stunning musically. It has to be five stars all round. This is programme planning raised to the level of high art, and all superbly performed and recorded. If only more concerts were like this."
***** Five Stars. BBC Music Magazine March 2004

Hélène Grimaud's first recording for Deutsche Grammophon is HER Credo: a record with an unusual, innovative musical concept:

Corigliano: Fantasia on an ostinato (piano solo)
Beethoven: Sonata No. 17 op. 31,2 "Tempest" in D-minor
Beethoven: Choral Fantasy
Arvo Pärt: Credo (for choir and orchestra)

In the development of this project, Hélène worked closely with ECM founder and legendary producer Manfred Eicher who is also Arvo Pärt's long-time producer

Hélène is joined by the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and choir under the baton of Esa-Pekka Salonen, also a new exclusive DG artist
