Located in a 100-year old warehouse in an inner-city suburb of Sydney, Longrain is a cool, contemporary restaurant and bar serving Asian food. The craftily compiled 'Longrain Music 2' is their second helping of consummate cocktail beats and tasty audio treats.

"With so many 'chillout' compiles doing the rounds," says Longrain Music 2 compiler and resident DJ Clive Smith, "We try to be a little different… besides some excellent and hard to find vinyl-only mixes by some of the leading lights of the European nu-jazz spectrum, we sourced some extra special and exclusive tracks from local artists."

From Italian lounger Paine's frisky opener, Crucial-D's impeccable nu-latin smarts, the dubby downshift of Zenile, TAG's Thievery-alike grooves, Flunk's acoustic 'Blue Monday' cover, German deep-dub from Emo, to a Bobby Hughes remix of Zimpala, and understated intimacy from the likes of Mo' Horizons, DeepChild and Coda, 'Longrain Music 2' is a heady mix of flavours.
