"Argerich, Capucon and Maisky are occasionally prone to exaggerated point-making, but their music-making has an intensity and spontaneity of a kind that only a live performance can bring..this finely recorded newcomer should not be missed." (BBC Music 5 stars)

Every new release from the legendary pianist Martha Argerich is a special event, and these new recordings of these highly commercial and well-loved staples of the classical repertoire will be no exception.
• This is Argerich's first recording of the Triple Concerto
• Regular collaborators and friends Renaud Capucon (violin) and Mischa Maisky (piano) contribute to a real sense of spontaneous and committed music-making under the expert guidance of Conductor Alexandre Rabinovitch-Barakovsky with the 'Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana'.
• Recorded live in the intimate surroundings of the Lugano Festival's 'Martha Argerich Project' in 2002 (Schumann) and 2003 (Beethoven), this CD is unveiled at this year's festival MARIA.
