Kiwi crooner Rob Innes takes his place alongside our country's finest talents. Despite a more than 40-year jump on some of his rock 'n' roll baby stable mates, Rob Innes' debut commercial album 'You Were There' proves the local music scene has indeed grown up and now boasts enough depth and diversity to find a place in any kiwi record collection.

Innes was a Tui NZ Music Awards finalist 2004 for 'Best Country Song' and was the #1 most requested artist on Newstalk ZB's Nostalgia show for 2003 (over and above Elvis and Sinatra).

Through this, he's grown a hugely loyal fan base - through radio and his numerous grassroots-style mall and RSA tours.

On 'You Were There' Rob Innes takes on his international crooning counterparts head-to-head. He proves he has the credentials to feature in record collections alongside the very best.

Rob is proud to sing real songs, songs that have become standards such as "Blue Moon", "Only You" and "On Broadway" and he's been called the Kiwi Tony Bennett or Jim Reeves.
