A companion to 'Songbird' - 11 moving tracks from the late singer. Her remarkable voice never fails to send a shiver down the spine or bring a tear to the eye.

'Wonderful World' is the much anticipated companion to the 1998 collection 'Songbird' (which has sold in excess of 20,000 CDs in NZ).

The Eva Cassidy phenomenon continues to confound an industry that promotes short-term careers and chart-driven, TV promoteed mediocrity. Six years after the release of the 1998 compilation 'Songbird', the late Eva Cassidy continues to be one of the best selling vocalists in the world and all of her seven albums move from gold to platinum to multi-platinum sales status ... "Eva Cassidy continues to sell (and sell!) because her remarkable voice never fails to send a shiver down the spine or bring a tear to the eye".

'Wonderful World' is a compilation of 11 moving tracks that have been selected to create a second primer and companion to 'Songbird'. The songs are drawn from a wide variety of recordings and yet they dovetail together perfectly to make a complete album.

The story behind each song is included in the liner notes and the final track is the previously unreleased "Waly Waly", a traditional song that Eva discovered on a Buffy Sainte-Marie album that was in her father's collection.

Tracks:

1. What a Wonderful World (from Live At Blues Alley)
2. Kathy's Song (from Time After Time)
3. Say Goodbye (from Eva By Heart)
4. Anniversary Song (from Time After Time)
5. How Can I Keep From Singing? (from Eva By Heart)
6. You Take My Breath Away (from American Tune)
7. Drowning In The Sea Of Love (from American Tune)
8. Penny To My Name (from Time After Time)
9. You've Changed (from Imagine)
