Originally produced as a one-hour TV special, this unique video of Anna Netrebko is now available on DVD!

Presenting Anna and her astonishing rise to stardom, this DVD showcases five arias from Anna Netrebko's debut album - Faust, Don Giovanni, La Sonnambula, La Boheme, and Rusalka (filmed in Salzburg and Los Angeles).

The five arias are directed as short films plus interview segments - and the DVD also includes special extra features, such as the making of the video, interview, excerpts from live performances in Vienna and Munich (La traviata), and St. Petersburg (Ruslan and Lyudmila), picture gallery, and music excerpts from her debut recording.

"The Woman, The Voice" was directed by Vincent Paterson. He is best known for his choreography of the dance sequences in Lars von Trier's film with Björk "Dancer in the Dark" (Palme d'or winner at the Cannes Film Festival) and "The Birdcage" for director Mike Nichols, as well as for his work on numerous music videos for Michael Jackson and Madonna.
