Bored with the constraints of preexisting genres, Plant Life set out to break down the barriers between Hip Hop, Soul, and good old fashioned funk music.

Heavily influenced by the seminal funk fusion of James Brown, George Clinton and Prince, and the aesthetics and futuristic ideals of the 90's B-boy, Plant Life embodies a sound reminiscent of Outkast, Cody Chesnutt and Amp Fiddler

Plant Life serve up a healthy dose of sensuality and politics while providing a groove strong enough to shake the system to its core.
