Continuing the Latin flavour introduced in 2000's 'Since Then', Ian Pooley's third artist album, 'Souvenirs' was recorded in both New Zealand and in Australia during his visit downunder in 2004. The perfect summer listen!
'Souvenirs' is Ian Pooley's third artist album after 2000's 'Since Then' and 1998's 'Meridian' and really continues the Latin flavour introduced in the former. 'Souvenirs' is released on Ministry of Sound Germany and was recorded in both New Zealand and in Australia during his last visit downunder.
Pooley's strong connection with our country spans seven years of annual visits, packing dancefllors up and down the land, winning over our hearts and minds with his summer musical selections.
'Souvenirs' was partly written here during his 2004 sojourn. The brilliant downbeat cruiser "Stonyridge Terrace" (A name well known to wine connoisseurs) was written in homage to Ian's favourite places to spend time when chilling on Waiheke Island.
The perfect summer listen!
