This very fine performance of two of the great sets of piano variations of the nineteenth century is the final issue in the series of Seta Tanyel recordings we have taken over from the former Collins Classics catalogue. It follows her highly acclaimed cycles of Scharwenka and Moszkowski and reveals that her Viennese training also makes her an ideal interpreter of those bastions of Germanic classicism, Beethoven and Brahms.
