Featuring guests Special K, Edo G, & Edan, this album sees the extended crew telling stories over nostalgic melodies, thick basslines, memorable loops and hard drums.
Time Machine came together in Washington, DC, in late-99. DJ Mekalek and MC Jaysonic were working on Jay's 'Hot Air' CD when Comel stopped by to lay down the final verse of 'Block Troopin', [which became the first Time Machine song.] The chemistry between the crew was undeniable, so the boys hit the studio and stage and Time Machine was born.
In late 2001, they set up shop on Rhode Island to begin work on their debut album, forming their own imprint, Glow In The Dark Records and released their second single 'Personal Ads'. The DIY ethic paid off as the single hit and word spread.
Now they drop that album, the carefully constructed 'Slow Your Roll', featuring guests Special K [Awesome Two] and Edo G, as well as old-meets-new specialist Edan. The album sees the extended crew telling stories over nostalgic melodies, thick basslines, memorable loops and hard drums.
Time Machine breaks away from the pack by bringing quality and creativity back to hip hop music.
