Malente is a small, quiet town in northern Germany, where Christoph Gottsch aka Malente grew up.

After DJing around Germany and Europe for a while Christoph realized he could produce tracks which could really kick start a party himself - so he began crafting his special blend of stomping nu-funk and electro-house-punk, ultimately culminating in the release of 'We Came To Party', Malente's second full-length album.

A popular German club DJ, Malente's album reflects the sound of his live sets: no purist bullsh*t but a lot of funk-fuelled and electro-rocked grooves, thrown down with a bright smile on his face. He has produced dancefloor-filling remixes for the likes of Bob Sinclair, Audio Bullys, DJ Friction and Ty.
