Seamless Recordings have raised the stakes once again with the third edition in the Bargrooves 'Taste and Tastemakers' series. 'Cosmopolitan' is a touch deeper than its predecessors, the two mixes exquisite examples of how house music has been tamed and nurtured into intricate layers of warm melodies and intoxicating rhythms: an atmosphere bespoke to your headspace.

Disc one is handled by Bargrooves impresario Ben Sowton, proving once more his ability to cherry pick all that's golden in deep, jazzy dance music. His mix traverses a grand canyon of cosmic sounds and crisp beats, going from the depths of Mettle Music to the uplifting positivity of Candy Apple's 'Under Your Spell' in one assured flow. Also featured are Seamless' first 12" singles, Souldoubt and Ross Couch, who add their spectacular touches to a masterful mix.

Our guest is a world class DJ and producer who has taken his trademark soulful, highly musical sound across the globe under the name Rollercone. Known to his Mum as Patrick Duvoisin, the longtime respected house-head's mix on disc two is a wonderful introduction to his style, featuring knockout names like Kenny Dope, Louis Vega, Ron Trent, Charles Webster and Matthias Heilbronn as well as his own work. A rich, diverse and well crafted mix from a man with the skills.
