David Edwards aka Minotaur Shock is an electronic musical marvel. 'Maritime' is an album inspired by the sea - "it's just that I'm a sucker for the romantic notion of the coast - smugglers, mists and pirates and that" says Edwards.

The album doesn't evoke a traditional sea shanty matter but throws nods in the direction of peers like Boards Of Canada, FourTet and manages to preserve a cool musical distance from the 'Folktronica' scene, as it was dubbed.
