Off kilter British duo Simon and Nail aka chillout / dance / club innovators Bent, have been DJing all over the world in the last couple of years, usually in the smaller, more intimate rooms of big clubs, where their playful and adventurous spirits have taken flight ~ the boys have experimented with loads of different styles and hundreds of wonderful tunes.

These likely lads are at the helm of the brand new 'Later' compilation, from those diamond geezers at Seamless. Also responsible for the long-running 'Bargrooves' series and the 'Vintage Grooves', 'Bargrooves Black' and 'Mr and Mrs Jones: Something For The Weekend' compilations, this UK label has built a stellar reputation for high quality releases.

Bent have always strayed from the middle of the road and their 'Later' compilation is certainly not just any old mix album, but something a little more personal, put together by two blokes who really care about their music.

With names like Wagon Christ, Yam Who, Mathew Jonson, Furry Phreaks, Detroit Experiment, Heavy Deviance, Kelly Polar Quartet and the added bonus of Bent's ambient yet eminently danceable "Baby Of The Year" track.

Bent's 'Later' mix is the kind of mixtape you'd make for a best mate. It's not full of the latest trendy tunes but some obscure things too, old and new, plus some tried and tested favourites. All with that special mellow, Bent disco flavour.

Bent disco? Call it spacey disco if you like… whatever the name it has the knack of feeling and sounding just right, Sunday morning or gloomy Thursday afternoon. Uplifting but not so fast it drags you where you'd rather not be.
