Wellington based Michael Taylor (trumpet) is arguably one of New Zealand's most talented young jazz musicians and 'Quintiplicity' is a highly appealing album of original grooves.

Wellington based Michael Taylor (trumpet) is arguably one of New Zealand's most talented young jazz musicians, and is already in demand within New Zealand and in Australia.

This is the Michael Taylor Group's impressive debut offering - with elements of contemporary jazz, Brazilian, funk and reggae skilfully interwoven, 'Quintiplicity' is a highly appealing album of original grooves. This music is easy to relax with and sure to astound.

Recorded at Massey University Conservatorium of Music, Wellington in September and November, 2004. All the tunes were composed by Michael except "Mau", which was composed by friend and saxophone player, Andre Paris.
