Luigi Boccherini wrote many string quintets for various combinations of instruments. Earlier this year we released the first set of Boccherini's string quintets by La Magnifica Comunità. Now we continue with volume II by the same performers who play on period instruments. Their baroque ensemble here consist of the for Boccherini typical combination of two violins, one viola and two cellos.
