Here is a band who pack pop smarts, rock power and dance rhythms in equal measure - their finest piece of rock n' disco pop work yet!

"The Rogers Sisters are cool motherf***ers. They are absolutely f***ing great!”
- Whisperin' & Hollerin' [USA]

Comprising of sisters Jennifer [vocals and guitar] and Laura Rogers [drums] as well as Miyuki Furtado [vocals and bass], The Rogers Sisters are fast staking a claim to being one of the most exciting bands around, with this album 'The Invisible Deck'.

Hard to pin down, they're much more than any one thing. You can certainly hear that they were brought up on and able to draw from such a rich diet of influences - Prince, ESG, Talking Heads, '80s US stadium rock… to name just a few - it's no surprise that the bar the sisters run in their native Brooklyn ['Daddys'] lays claim to having the best jukebox in town!

'The Invisible Deck', is also their debut for the Too Pure label. Third in line after their mini-album 'Three Fingers' and their hard-to-find 'Purely Evil' [complete with George Bush cover art!] debut, but is a big leap forward from those recordings. Confidence is riding high after a successful year in '05 and with singles like new indie fave "Never Learn To Cry" and previous bNet hits "Emotion Control" and "The Conversation", which have been re-recorded for this outing, and "Why Won't You?", an indie dancefloor favourite all over.

Here is a band who pack pop smarts, rock power and dance rhythms in equal measure. The Rogers Sisters have succeeded in distilling their influences and with 'The Invisible Deck' have crafted their finest piece of rock n' disco pop work yet!
