Madita first came to the Worlds' attention singing on dZihan and Kamien's Internationally acclaimed album 'Gran Riserva' (2002). Her self titled debut is produced by dZihan.
The album is sharp, disarming, tender and playful; each song leaves you wondering where the next will take you. An uninhibited exploration of vocal styles and structures. Its power comes from its ability to breathe and the authenticity of the performances. A musical debut for poets, dreamers and creative thinkers the world over.
'Madita' does not fit in with any of the usual musical conventions associated with Electronica, Jazz or Pop, instead it creates it's own musical symbiosis. Madita is not about the intricate use of samples and gives preference to the instruments and performances themselves. This combined with poetic off beat lyrics and an entirely unique vocal style give the album its distinctive and hypnotic quality.
