After taking the world by storm with the release of their debut album 'You're A Woman, I'm A Machine', Canadian power-rockers Death From Above 1979 are dropping a remix album, 'Romance Bloody Romance', out through Shiny Records!

DFA1979 transform their unholy rock into slamming dancefloor tracks for this collection of mammoth remixes and unreleased tracks, featuring the likes of Josh Homme [Queens Of The Stone Age], Erol Alkan [founder of UK clubnight 'Trash'], Paul Epworth [producer of Bloc Party, Maximo Park etc], Sammy Danger [Test-Icicles], new French dance sensations Justice, house producer Alan Braxe [1/2 of Stardust, alongside Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter] and DFA1979 solo projects!

And if you still yearn for some DFA1979 rock action, the album also includes two previously unreleased tracks, 'You're Lovely' and a cover of the 1978 underground classic 'Better Off Dead' originally recorded by legendary Boston punk band La Peste.

The wicked remixes found on 'Romance Bloody Romance' bring out the inherent danceability of DFA1979's original music, by infusing it with musical stylings from discotheque to house; dirty electro to punk-funk. This IS the sound of NOW!
