Formed out of the NZ bands Head Like A Hole, Hell is Other People and The Letterbox Lambs, this group make music that is laidback, rolled out country-tinged indie rock. Allow Cassette to gently rock your socks off.
'Cut For Summer' is a reminder that summer is a state of mind. Whatever the season, these laidback, rolled out country-tinged indie rock tunes are the conduit for love, lust, pain and dry, dry wit. In the sun or the rain, allow Cassette to gently rock your socks off.
Formed in Auckland New Zealand in 2000 by Tom Watson (Head Like A Hole), Craig Terris (Hell is Other People) and Dave Fraser primarily as a vehicle for Watson to perform some of his more introspective material. The result was the gorgeous EMO EP. When bass player Dave Fraser relocated to London the band decided Paul Trigg, frontman for legendary Wellington indie band The Letterbox Lambs, was more than man enough to fill Dave's shoes. 2004 saw them touring and recording what was to become 'Cut for Summer'.
