This CD from the frontman for Free, Bad Company, The Firm, Queen and others was recorded in 2006, covering a wide spectrum of over 38 years of Rodgers' career - a must have for fans of this fantastic singer.
His resume reads like a rock fan's wildest dream: frontman for Free, Bad Company, The Firm, Queen and more.
Paul Rodgers has been electrifying audiences since he hit #1 in numerous parts of the world with Free's 1970 recording "All Right Now". After three years with Free, Rodgers formed Bad Company with Free drummer Simon Kirke, Mick Ralphs from Mott The Hoople and Boz Burrell from King Crimson. After a number of platinum records and #1 hits, Bad Company broke up. Teaming up with Jimmy Page, he recorded 2 albums with the Firm, before joining the Law. In 2005, he teamed up with Queen for the Queen + Paul Rodgers 'Return of the Champions' tour, to much success. Throughout his career, Rodgers has also released several solo albums to critical acclaim.
This CD was recorded in October 2006, includes brand new songs "Warboys (A Prayer for Peace)” & "Far Distant Shore,” as well as songs he has not performed in 35 years, plus many of his hits - including "All Right Now,” "Feel Like Making Love” & "Can't Get Enough.” The band consists of guitarist Howard Leese (Heart), bassist Lynn Sorenson, drummer Ryan Hoyle (Collective Soul) and 17-year old guitar prodigy Kurtis Dengler.
