Legendary blues and roots music guitarist Duke Robillard follows his Grammy nominated release 'Guitar Groove-a-Rama' with a full 115-minute 2CD set of blues, swing, funk and original tunes that touch all corners of Duke's 'World Full of Blues'.
At a single CD price the 'value added' bonus disc makes this a set of 'All Killer, No Filler' material.
Duke played guitar on Tom Wait's high profile and rare tour in 2006. 'World Full of Blues' includes a cover of Tom Waits "Low Side of the Road", Bob Dylan's "Everything is Broken" (Duke played guitar on Dylan's 'Time Out of Mind') and Eric Bibb's "Too Much Stuff". Original material and additional covers by Memphis Slim, Jimmy Reed, T-Bone Walker and Booker T. round out the 23 song set.
Duke Robillard is one this era's most acclaimed guitar players, having won four W.C. Handy Awards as 'Blues Guitarist of the Year' . His long discography includes recordings with Bob Dylan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Roomful of Blues (which he founded in 1967 at the age of 17) and legends like Ruth Brown.
