Box-fresh electro indie pop drawing comparisons as diverse as Devo and The Cult, the duo To My Boy have exploded out of nowhere -– well, Liverpool, to be specific -– with their jerky, energetic, incredibly infectious brand of nu rave type stuff!

"They make really good music about suitably off-kilter things: mostly, love songs to and about computers. Despite sounding very '80s, they also sound very now… wonky electro-pop full of jerky, fizzing keyboards which lend themselves to doing the robot in a wacky fashion. The world is now just about ironic enough to cope with a Devo revival."
- New-noise

"Utterly thrilling!”
- NME

"…fully-realised futurepop for the here and now… I'm sure many a neon-clad youth will be pulling his/her best moves to the best of 'Messages' on a dancefloor near you very soon.”
- CDtimes.co.uk

"A thing of unquestionable, unquenchable beauty and wonder… with a breathtaking energy… easily and uneffortlessly the finest album of the year to date, this is something unique and wonderful.”

Sam and Jack, better known as To My Boy, return with their highly anticipated album 'Messages', featuring their sought-after favourites "I Am X-Ray", "The Grid" and "Model".

The final word goes to Sam and Jack: "This is our new album with our new single 'Model', which is about making things. It's inspired by a computer program Jack designed at university. When the problem seemed unsolvable he would give up and go to the pub, waking up with more terrible brain-ache than before. A proper nightmare it was! We find catharsis in being constructive and in building something beautiful to relieve anxiety about our own flaws. and so... we give you 'Messages'.”
