Stockholm-based fashion photographer Susanne spends her days taking glamour shots of beautiful models and missing her married former lover, Henrik, who lives in Gothenburg. Doris is a vivacious, if slightly infantile, model who is more enchanted by style and material goods than her put-upon fiancé, Palle. Desperate to be closer to Henrik, Susanne schedules a photo shoot in Gothenburg with Doris. Thanks to two very different romantic encounters, Susanne and Doris are taught the value of true love.
