One of the legendary greats of Broadway, Mary Martin achieved fame in her first ever show with the song "My Heart Belongs To Daddy" then went on to become the star of amongst other musicals "South Pacific" & "One Touch Of Venus".
Disc 1 comprises songs from her New York and London Shows, together with a few numbers featured in films made during her comparatively short stay in Hollywood.
On Disc 2, you can hear recordings made by Miss Martin of Broadway hits from shows which starred other artists of the New York stage.
