Weller presents his 9th studio album, featuring special guests Noel Gallagher & Gem Archer from Oasis, Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene and Graham Coxon from Blur.
Bursting onto the music scene in 1977 as lead singer of The Jam, Paul Weller fronted one of the most popular British bands of the era, influencing legions of English rockers ranging from Oasis to Ocean Colour Scene. Disbanding The Jam at the end of 1982, Weller explored his interest in a wider range of musical genres when he teamed up with Mick Talbot to form The Style Council. With the demise of The Style Council in 1989, Paul Weller withdrew from the public eye for a couple of years before once again returning to prominence with two of his most lauded, critically acclaimed and popular releases - 1993's 'Wild Wood' and 1995's 'Stanley Road'.
Now Weller presents his 9th studio album '22 Dreams'. Recorded over the course of a year at Paul's own Black Barn Studio's in Surrey, '22 Dreams' incorporates rock, funk, soul, free jazz, classical, spoken word and all stops in between. It's a 70-minute odyssey delivered with the sort of verve and ambition that would shame musicians half his age.
'22 Dreams' features special guests Noel Gallagher & Gem Archer from Oasis, Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene and Graham Coxon from Blur.
