Miscellaneous Adventures

SideKickNick is the solo project of local musician, Nick Buckton. After countless hours of writing, rehearsing and recording this wonderful assortment of songs, each bristling with his unique pop genius, they are ready to be unveiled to the world.

'Miscellaneous Adventures' features such gems as "Something in Your Eyes", "Amputee Acrobat" and "The Phone Song".

Nick Buckton has been making music for awhile. The son of classically trained musicians, Nick played the piano as a child. At age eight he chose instead to pick up the trumpet. In high school he switched to bass guitar. As a result, Buckton's first full length album release under his pseudonym SideKickNick; Miscellaneous Adventures, is an eclectic collection of songs about; "…girls, cellular telephones, dinghy rides, eyeballs, television, eating, sleeping, boredom, frustration, getting old, death and a selection of other mundane stuff", on which Nick plays almost all of the instruments.
