Directed & produced by Fugazi drummer, Brendan Canty, and Christoph Green, 'Ashes of American Flags' features performances from five U.S. venues: Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa; Tipitina's in New Orleans; The Mobile Civic Center in Mobile; The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville; and the 9:30 Club in Washington DC.
Shot in high definition, the film also includes interviews with the band and behind-the-scenes footage, as they travel from venue to venue.
