This is a remarkable album. On side one, Hutcherson appears alone - playing vibes, marimba and other percussion instruments with multiple overdubs, creating an intense, unusual atmosphere.
Side two is slightly more conventional; it reconvenes the band that made the great Stick-Up! - McCoy Tyner, Herbie Lewis and Billy Higgins - and while not quite sparking off the same fire, it turns this album into a well-rounded session.
