Palmerston North artist Vicki Lee, once being part of the dynamic duo String of Pearls, has been entertaining New Zealand audiences for well over twenty five years with a variety of genre styles from the 50's era to current day including pop classics, Rock & Roll and light classical. Vicki's career to date has seen her perform up and down the country and internationally she has worked in Australia, Samoa, Fiji and Las Vegas. She has had the privilege of working with many well known entertainers, including Frankie Stevens, Suzanne Prentice, Angela Ayers and legendary performer Sir Howard Morrison. Vicki can lay claim, as part of the String Of Pearls to performing the New Zealand National Anthem bi-lingually (at their initiation) on television for the first time. That was a New Zealand/Australia League test back in 1993 and she has performed the NZ Anthem and the opposing team's national anthem at over twenty televised international sports events in the years since.

Vicki has backed Dame Malvina Major on a number of occasions in recent years, the highlight to date being part of the backing band on the 'Knight With A Dame' New Zealand tour with Dame Malvina and Sir Howard in 2006.
