Australian soprano, Greta Bradman presents a joyous ode to the sweet, gentle art form we know as the 'lullaby' - a musical expression that spans generations.
Greta Bradman is a young Australian soprano whose career is progressing at a rapid pace. She has been described as "one of Australia's finest young singers" and "an exceedingly intelligent and perceptive musician".
The concept of recording an album of classical lullabies came about as a result of Greta's studies in the areas of developmental psychology and neurophysiology. Greta wanted to create an album that would promote an interest and proficiency for music that would also soothe and calm children - thereby promoting better quality sleep, better attention and maximising learning ability.
'Forest of Dreams' draws on a wealth of classical favourites including lullabies by Brahms and Gotter to spellbinding settings of lullabies made famous by the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and Peter, Paul and Mary, as well as reinterpretations of modern pop standards by Creed and Billy Joel. The album is a joyous ode to the sweet, gentle art form we know as the 'lullaby' - a musical expression that spans generations.
