A true supergroup that delivers a titanic rock experience greater than the sum of its supremely talented parts: Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian.
"If you're into rock or blues music, you must check out the Black Country Communion album! Glenn Hughes is clearly inspired to be collaborating with such talented musicians, making it probably the best studio recording he's done since 'Hughes / Thrall'. Joe Bonamassa is playing beautifully, especially on an eight-and-a-half-minute masterpiece called "Song of Yesterday" - so emotionally lifting, just amazing! The title track kicks big time as the opener and basically every song is a winner from there on. Awesome!!"

Black Country Communion is a devastating head-on collision between American and British rock influences - a true supergroup that delivers a titanic rock experience greater than the sum of its supremely talented parts.
The brainchild of producer Kevin Shirley (Black Crowes, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin), the band combines the rock lineage and forces of legendary frontman and bass guitarist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Trapeze), master blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, powerhouse drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin and Foreigner), as well as keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Billy Idol, and Alice Cooper). Named after the industrial area in Britain where both Hughes and Bonham were born and raised, Black Country Communion began rehearsing and recording tracks written by both Hughes and Bonamassa at Shangri-La Studios in early 2010.
This special edition of 'Black Country Communion' includes a DVD with live performances, behind the scenes footage, music videos, a photo gallery, and exclusive band member interviews from the studio.
