My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

To say Kanye West's last 12 months have been an adventure would be an understatement. And now West is hoping to capture his experiences from that time frame in his new album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'.

The first two singles from 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' have already been released, "Power" and "Runaway," featuring Pusha T. Songs have been leaked all over the internet but if his comeback single "Power" is anything to go by, the album will be living up the Kanye-hype. Received to critical acclaim, "Power" is as anthemic and victorious as it is inventive, sampling the track "21st Century Schizoid Man" by British prog rock band King Crimson. The video for "Power" is also just as inventive, produced by Italian/Canadian filmmaker Marco Brambilla, it is a continuous shot that Kanye himself likened to a "moving painting."

Another track called "Lost in the World" (which samples Bon Iver's "Woods") has already got positive reviews from fellow stars - another bona fide hit in the making for Kanye it seems.
