This fifth album from the venerable Twilight Singers finds Greg Dulli once again fixated with the darker side of life, exploring death, sex and drugs.
'Dynamite Steps' is the fifth studio creation from former Afghan Whigs frontman, Greg Dulli's Twilight Singers and it sees him return to his spiritual home, the legendary Sup Pop Records.
Produced by Greg himself and "shot on location" in Los Angeles, Joshua Tree and New Orleans, the material on 'Dynamite Steps' deals with the darker side of life, exploring death, sex and drugs - all themes that are regularly visited with The Twilight Singers, it must be said. Sticking with a mix of soulful vocals, bombastic guitar lines and gentle piano moments that Greg has become known for, the album also features guest spots from regular collaborators Mark Lanegan and Ani DiFranco.
