Blackfield is the acclaimed collaboration between Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and Israeli artist, Aviv Geffen.

Formed after a meeting in 2000, the partnership blossomed into a cross-cultural collaboration that previous to this release spawned two albums ('Blackfield' and 'Blackfield II'). Their third effort, 'Welcome to My DNA' has followed a gap of four years caused by both artists' hectic schedules.

Personnel: Aviv Geffen (vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards), Steven Wilson (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Eran Mitelman (piano, Hammond b-3 organ), Seffy Efrati (bass guitar) and Tomer Z (drums, percussion).
