Described as the kids of Death From Above 1979, ELO, The Stooges, Justice and White Zombie, Turbowolf are building an electronic noise temple above the crumbled pillars of rock music.
Godzilla guitar riffs battle broken junk-store keyboards, while huge choruses smash into unhinged freak-outs. Steeped in the UK's undercurrent of nasty, kick-ass rocknroll bands that is becoming ever-prevalent, Turbowolf unleash their self-titled debut full length album. Recorded in their hometown of Bristol, musically it sits somewhere between 80s punk rock, 70s riff freakouts and 60's psychedelia. It's a heavy sound with moments of complex madness bound together with a sense of melody and pop aesthetics. Wild erratic jams meet short sharp attention grabbing bursts, cavernous guitar riffs tear through tripped out jams, melodious vocal lines sit on top of huge choruses, whilst tight grooves bind the whole mixture together.
