Seven

DJ Cam first made himself known with an EP titled 'The DJ Cam Quartet' and his debut LP 'Underground Vibes'. Both were heavily Jazz influenced and set him on his way to be a leading figure alongside DJ Shadow and DJ Krush in the instrumental Hip Hop / Trip Hop scene in the mid 90s.

Since then, DJ Cam moved from his native Paris and set up shop in L.A and continued producing his own brand of jazz tinged beats. 'Seven' is arguable more cinematic than most of his other releases, strings dominate and he's brought a couple of singers along for the ride - Nicolette and Chris James. But this is a typically DJ Cam sounding offering, if you've been into his previous work this will sit nicely alongside them, but offer something extra.
