Damon stars as Benjamin Mee, a struggling single dad who decides his family needs a fresh start. So he and his two kids move to the most unlikely of places; a run-down zoo with a herd of needy exotic animals. Faced with runaway snakes, a depressed bear and a sick tiger, Benjamin soon realises he's in way over his head on this wild and woolly adventure. But with help from plucky, head zookeeper Kelly, Benjamin and his brood may just stay one step ahead of the inspector and pull off a triumphant grand opening.
