Derrick Morgan's recording career spans over Five decades, starting with Smith's in the late 1950's with mainly R&B style output. In the Ska era of the early 1960's he moved on to work with producers: Duke Reid, Prince Buster, Leslie Kong, C.S. Dodd (Studio One) and later in the 1960's and into the mid 1970's, with Bunny 'Striker' Lee. During the 1969-1973 period, many of Derrick's own productions were also released, mainly on the Pama group labels (Crab, Unity etc;) in the UK.
The 14 track LP features original Mono recordings, all from 1960-1965 period and features many rare and hard to find Jamaican recorded Ska tracks.
